How do I get paid?

If a Requester approves a HIT that you've submitted, Amazon Mechanical Turk automatically transfers money from the Requester's Prepaid HIT balance to your Amazon Payments account. If you are a US based Worker, you can choose to disburse your earnings to your U.S. bank account or to an Amazon.com gift certificate balance. Workers in India have the option of receiving bank checks denominated in Indian Rupees or disburse their earnings to an Amazon.com gift certificate. All other international Workers can only disburse to an Amazon.com gift certificate.

How do I receive payment in Indian Rupees?

If you are a Worker in India, you can elect to receive a check for your earnings in Indian Rupees. You will need to provide your birth date, passport number, Electoral Photo Identity Card (EPIC) number or Permanent Account Number (PAN). A scanned copy of your passport, EPIC or PAN card is also required. All the information you need to sign up to receive payments denominated in Rupees is provided on the Account Settings page.

It takes 14 days to verify your card information once it is submitted. Once we've verified your information, you'll be able to withdraw your earnings in Indian Rupees. To request a withdrawal, go to the Account Settings page and follow the instructions. Your check is mailed within 6 weeks to the address we have on file.

Moral of the story: So if you are not an Indian or an US citizen, you will not be able to encash your mturk earnings. If you dont like Amazon gift certificates, then you should reconsider working at mturk.com. Thanks and happy earning.

You get paid for chatting with others. However the pay per line is slightly higher. There are three kinds of memberships here. It is called rank system. They are:

Newbie Chatter - Members who have less than 5 000 written lines. They will receive 0.02 Cents per each written line.
Veteran Chatter - Members who have between 5 000 and 10 000 written lines. They will receive 0.04 Cents per each written line.
Elite Chatter - Members who have more than 10 000 written lines. They will receive 0.05 Cents per each written line.

The pay may seem less. But believe me, it builds up fast. Especially if your rank increases. And ofcourse, if you get referrals. You get 100% of your referrals earnings. Payout is $1. I really don't know why I delayed posting about this site for so long. Its great. And its Clixsense. It pays 1 cent per ad. And like Wordlinx, the number of ads per day depends on the availability. It is not fixed. They call it geo-targeted ads. So be sure you are receiving a lot of ads if you are planning to upgrade your account.

They also have a game in there called ClixGrid. As a free member, you get to click 30 times on a particular picture. Each click opens a random ad. If you are lucky, you get free cash in one of those clicks.
